The new 7 bed recreation space planned.

Below are the images of the 7 bed and recreation space we have planning and Listed building approval for. We are currently going out to tender on this project.  It will increase our number of beds but most importantly it will provide very flexible accommodation arrangements to meet the needs of those living with early onset dementia and their families. The space has been designed to provide the family home feel the rest of our homes already achieve, and at the same time providing additional personal space.

There has been much news about the NHS and the need to improve care for their elderly patients so far no one is addressing the fact that the majority of care for those who require it in the latter years of life takes place in Care Homes across the UK, much needs to be done to improve the commission of care by both the new Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Authorities who general purchase care at the lowest cost without regard to quality.
